I am doing cupcakes in the pleated nut cups for the first time today.

It seems that the cupcakes are shrinking up on me. Has this happened to anyone else?

I am baking them directly on a sheet pan rather than the cupcake pan. Is that why?

IS there any way to combat this problem?

TIA!

I bake all of my cupcakes in various sizes of nut cups and I've never had any issues with shrinkage. Sorry I don't have any useful info for you. Are they shrinking up in the oven or as they cool? Perhaps you're baking them a little too long? I'm just guessing at this point. lol

Does your cake batter receipe have pudding in it? If so, that could be why.
