How To Make Cranberry Colored Fondant ? ? ? ?? Help ! ! ! !

I need to make a doll cake for a wedding with the bride being White of course but they also want mini dolls for the bridesmaids and their dresses are cranberry color. What colors what I use to get the cranberry color ? I've already tried burgandy and that dosen't work .

PLEASE HELP ! ! !

I've heard you are to start with maroon as your base color and add super red to it (americolors) to get cranberry. HTH

I would think a combo of red and a burgundy or wine color. You will need to let the red color develop for quite a while to get the true color, especially if you're using Wilton colors. Americolor develops faster, but still give it a little time. And if you're starting with white fondant, it's gonna take a lot of dye. If you start with red precolored SatinIce, you can just work in a little of a dark red. And the powdered colors would also be a good idea, since they do not change the texture of the fondnat.
