i came to rescue a melted fondant the day after i delivered my chocolate cake. i dont know why it melted when the leftover fondant here in our house remained the same. i assume we have the same climate and weather. please enlighten me i dont want it to happen again.
btw, i made a chocolate ganache and made fondant design. if it has something to do with the melting. thanks

Hmmm.... I wouldn't thing ganaches would have enough moisture in it to melt the fondant, but it must've been the ganache.

Did they put the cake in the refrigerator?

Nope it wasnt put inside the fridge, same as my left over fondant, enoid.

macsmom, maybe its the moisture of the ganche.
