This looks like something I want to try, as it looks unusual and would be sure to turn heads! Look at the picture of it sliced and served on a plate....beautiful! Anybody have any experience with baking one of these? Here is a link to a bakery that makes these:

Do you have a spit to rotate it on? A true baumkuchen is baked on a spit to get those distinctive layers.

As a matter of fact, I do have access to a spit and pit. Holy moly....that's a lot of work! Just found some info on Google about making one of those. I'm out on this one! Looks pretty though! icon_biggrin.gif
