I've been asked to do a Texas Hold-Em cake for a 30th B-day. I don't know anything about Texas Hold-Em. Is it played on a Poker table, are Poker tables octagon, what does a hand look like, do the colors of the chips matter? I know alot of ?'s. I looked at the gallery but most of them say "POKER". Help!

texas hold'em is played on a poker table. it can be octogan.....in the casino they are oval. each player is dealt 2 cards..face down. the "dealer" lays down 5 cards in the center of the table face up.you must use the 2 cards dealst to you and 3 of the dealers cards to make the best hand. the best hand is a royal flush(very hard to get). it consist of a 10, jack, queen, king, and an ace. they all have to be the same suit ...(hearts or clubs...etc.).
It would be cute to have the 2 cards face up with like an ace and a king of spades. and in the 5 cards laying face up in the center...you could put the 10, jack and queen of spades along with 2 other cards...like the 3 hearts, and 6 of diamonds. I would put a big stack of chips in front of the 2 cards like you are going "ALL IN".

i hope this is helpfull! Good luck!
