My niece is getting married, and she wants me to do her cake!!!! She wants a cake with the above flavors, but not necessarily a chocolate cake. I'll deeply appreciate any help with ideas on how to incorporate this flavors in cake, filing(s) and icing to make the cake taste super special.
You could do an almond cake with amaretto in it and have a chocolate filling.
Or a chocolate almond cake with an amaretto buttercream.
I flavor my white cake with an almond emulsion and call the flavor Amaretto, since Amaretto's just an almond-flavored liquor. Brides looooove it. We pair it with raspberry, but it goes really well with a chocolate filling, or even chocolate icing... yum!
