What a fun site! And may I add that for anyone who's never had a chocolate mayonnaise cake, you must try it. We grew up on those and they're moist with a little zing from the mayo. Fabulous combination!

I've never heard of using mayo in any kind of cake, or any desert for that matter. It doesn't sound very appetizing LoL. I'm almost so curious to try it and see how it tastes. I can't even imagine.

What a great site. Thanks!!

You'll get the same reaction with sour cream. The extra acid gives it a zing icon_biggrin.gif

I know it doesn't sound appetizing, but it really is delicious and I'm not a big fan of mayonnaise. Can't stand it on sandwiches and such, but it's such a subtle flavor in the cake. You wouldn't recognize it as mayo if you didn't know it was in there. You'd just realize there's something zippy in the cake.
