Whats The Best Size

for those of you that do petit fours, the best size? 1x1 or 1 1/2 x 1 1/2?

I made some last week for a shower and the mother complained they were too small 1x1.

Isnt that why they are called petit four? She must be confused with a cup cake vs a petit four. icon_lol.gif

there are some places that consider an individual dessert as a petit fours

If the little monsters are a bit larger, they are easier to decorate, 1x1 is a bit tiny, so you have to make more. 2x2 is a more generous bit of cake.

That is the size she ordered. 1x1, then complained...sigh.
