How Would U Do The Ruffles On This Cake?

i love this cake and would like to replicate it but have no idea how to do such large ruffles and what the ruffles are made of... please help

I think I've seen this one before and I believe the ruffles are made of gumpaste.

Yah, as I remember it was decided they are fondant &/or gp.
Roll out long strips about 3" wide then roll one edge so it is a bit wavey(sp?) and apply. If it seems to want to floop, support w/paper towels until it dries/sets.
