Hello, my friend wants a red velvet cake. Never made one before. I found a couple ones from the recipe section. Some of them call for vinegar, what's the purpose of vinegar? Just wondering what's your favorite recipe. Is the scratch ones way better than the box one?

Thank you.

Which RV recipe you like really depends on personal preference. icon_smile.gif

We used the white trillium recipe found on this site and then added red food coloring and cocoa powder to make it red velvet. Everyone who tried it loved it.
