i know that many of us use our cell phones as our business line...if you do not wish to have your minutes used up with solicitors, take this action:
.YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THESE CALLS
To prevent this, call the following number from your cell phone:
888-382-1222.
It is the National DO NOT CALL list. It will only take a minute of your
time. It blocks your number for five (5) years. You must call from the cell
phone number you want to have blocked. You cannot call from a different
phone number.
I think you can go online too.....yep you can.. here you go You can do this with land lines as well.

Also, I googled the number from mixinvixen.... it checks out (Not that I don't trust ya )
According to snopes.com, this is false. You don't have to register cell phones.

true shannon,
but if you give your number online, or to some services they can sell it and you can end up with solicitators (sp? uhh its late) calling.
I used to get about 2 calls a week. Signed up on the registry, and no longer do I have problems..
Now if I could just block wrong numbers!
For those of you in Canada, you can register any phone number, including cells at this website:
