I have been asked to make a cake for my hubby's grandmother who will be 90 in a couple of weeks. I've looked for ideas on here and i've seen some amazing cakes and think all of you are awesome. I saw some cakes made into a "9" and "0" and read about a template but I can't find it. If someone would be so kind as to direct me where I might find it. Again....I think all of you are totally awesome and hope to be as good as you someday.

Here is a cake I just made for an 80th birthday. Very simple. I went on the computer and looked up events of the year the lady was born, and then had edible images made. The name and numbers are edible images too. The "80" was put on a piece of gumpaste, cut around, and then let dry and attached them to lollypop sticks.

Just another idea.

Thank you so much for the replies. If I happen to do the big 90 with 2 smaller cakes, I can use the template sent to me. I don't have enough time to get the small "90" on edible paper but that cake was amazing too!
