I have a couple of homemade bread recipes that my family loves. I would like to use that recipe and make rolls that I can freeze for dinner.

Does that work? Can I just take a recipe for a loaf of bread and make rolls instead?

I know it seems like a stupid question but I haven't been making bread that long. TIA!

Gee, I don't see why that wouldn't work. Never done it myself. Let us know if you try and it works. icon_smile.gif

You can do it......but (depending on your recipe) the texture will be more like bread instead of a soft light roll.

Thanks all!

It is fine if the texture is bread-y (is that a word icon_smile.gif )

I have growing children, who like bread and this is a good way to help fill their tummies at dinner time.

I will get to it tomorrow hopefully icon_rolleyes.gif

I like 2 1/2, or 3 oz size.

All of the rolls I've ever made have just been from bread recipes. icon_smile.gif
