Yes, I think you are on to something! It's size was a really big deal when it was posted, because this sucker was enormous. Oh baby, if you find this, I'm a'gonna hug you! Hehehe. And yes, there were different shapes too I'm pretty sure.
And parable... I'm not ruling that out! Hehehe. 
I found a beautiful stacked pillow cake that people were just blown over by it. It is done in pink thought. The pillows don't hardly touch. It is amazing.

I finished looking through the other/mixed shapes wedding cakes. Saw lots of amazing cakes, but nothing that looked like what you were describing. I'm hanging up my computer mouse for the night and going to finish watching the bull riding finals(I'm a country girl, what can I say.) I will keep checking back to see if you find it. Good luck.

I just had a thought! Maybe the picture was in a thread and never posted in the gallery.
I was also thinking that when I saw the picture that I thought the cake was for an occasion that really didn't fit. Mel, do you remember if the designer had any comments?
Was this one of those internet emails going around in the threads where it showed gigantic cakes made in other countries? I had one of those going around at work. It had huge amount of cakes/boxes in a big area, like for a Arabian King or something...you know.
Or do you think it was made by one of our own CC members?

I think I know what Melvira is talking about. I even made a comment/post on it. I checked my posts and I think it was before the Great Crash of Cake Central. (well, that's what i THINK anyway! )
It was a picture by a CC member and the picture was in a Forum Post...by a different CC member. And the picture she put in was to help the original author. If i remember, the pix itself was taken a ways-away. But the stacking of the cakes indeed looked like jumbled boxes.
