For color, I know some have used a airbrush machine but I don't have that. So I was wondering how do you achieve the color and make the cooked turkey cake look realistic without the machine? But I prefer using fondant. So how would I do that?

When I did mine years ago, I actualled mixed a little brown color paste with real vanilla and brushed it on. I think if I was doing it with fondant I would probably either start with white fondant or brown fondant and either brush or sponge the color one.
