Does anyone know or have a receipe for silver or gold royal icing? Thank you!

Hi, if you are going to do some piping, do it with Royal Icing first and then mix some silver/gold lustre dust with clear alcohol/ clear extract/ ever clear or even confectioners glaze. And then paint over the RI piping. You might have to do it several times. Do one coat first then leave it to dry and then do the next one until you get the desired colour.

There is no recipe. As has been said, you pipe w/light yellow or grey icing, then pain w/thinned down luster dusts (mixed w/something alcohol; vodka, extracts, everclear etc)
It needs to be mixed on the thickish side....too much liquid and it will streak and not cover. If that happens, just let the mixture sit in the dish for 5-10 munutes OR add more dust and it will be fine.

I am going to try the lucks brand gold shimmer in a few weeks.....

I think americolor has a luster/shimmer gold as well

I will be airbrushing.
