There was a link to page full of CAKES...inparticular were number cakes. The link was shared in the borders we love thread....the one that pages were lost in the "big crash". I'm thinking it was british or australian...somewhat-very elaborate number cakes with beautiful borders. It was in my favorites but on DH's puter and he frequently rearranges things.

Any help locating this site would greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

I just wanted to look at the number cakes again...I couldn't find the site and THAT drove me batty! I searched for borders...topic title only....found it in a newer thread. I could sit forever and look at those cakes.

Here's a how-to on one of the popular borders on that site....thanks to fellow CCer Gefion!

I just can't believe you pulled a 'double doi'!! That phrase is generally reserved for the worst kinds of screw-ups!! I almost died when I read that!!! icon_lol.gif

lol...if you knew how numb my backside is from looking for it and how many times I passed over that thread thinking it didn't have enough replies to contain that site link...and all that effort was just so I could daydream about cake....you may even award me the triple doi award!

Woah... a triple doi??? I don't know... that would require you doing something like posting your request right under the post that HAD the link you were looking for! Hehehe. You know how that goes!

Thank you Melvira, for cutting me some slack.

ya'll can see now why I was searching so hard for it. If you look at 'em though, the majority of them have that same border and not much else. I think the beauty is the combination of a smooooooooooooooooooth cake, that gorgeous border AND the sensational writing!!!!

Man, I agree, that is some FANTASTIC caking right there! I am super-impressed and a wee bit jealous! Hehehe. I love the ONE cake where they spelled it out! WOW, that looks incredible!
