I have to do a Handy Manny cake this morning. I'm out of time. Don't have time for a FBCT. If I trace the image to rice paper, apply it to the cake with gel, then star over the image ..... what happens to the rice paper?
Does it dissolve?
Does it have taste?
Do you notice if when cutting the cake?
Is this a good idea?
Thanks tons! becky

Does it dissolve? It doesn't dissolve completely, but it softens up enough to cut through.
Does it have taste? only when you taste it alone (like communion wafers), but once on cake, not noticable
Do you notice if when cutting the cake? not really because it softens up. and especially if you're going to pipe over it.
Is this a good idea? don't see why not! Just my opinion though.
