Ok so I have tried this just a little and the outcome has not been what I thought. I have heard to dilute the food color with vanilla extract and that will make it so the food color that is painted on does'nt smear as
bad. I have tried this and the color is almost watery. When I use very little, if not any, of the extract in the color, every time the food color is touched it smears really bad. I know there has to be somthing simple that I am missing. Thanks in adance for your help.
I've heard about mixing some food coloring with melted cocoa butter.
From my limited experience - paint light coats and allow to dry before adding next coat.
