I had some Halloween material left and wanted to make something, but wasn't sure what. I had also purchased some orange and purple flowers from Kroger. I decided to combine the two and this is what I came up with. I'm posting it, because it may give you some Christmas ideas. I sized the fabric to fit over a glass vase from the $1 store. Most fabric vases that I've seen are all fabric and can only hold artificial flowers. This is a real glass vase and these are real flowers.

These are pretty cute!!! icon_smile.gif I bet if they sell them out there somewhere/sometime, they would probably be getting a whopper of a price because it is fairly inexpensive especially with left over material and all.

Good idea, imagine the possibilities. icon_rolleyes.gif

Very cute and crafty of you. Did you hot glue the fabric?

Thanks for the compliments. I used my sewing machine to stitch the bottom and side seam to snugly fit the vase. I did hot glue the top edge to the vase though for extra security.
