You emust use airbrush colors. The gel colors, even mixed, will clog the airbrush.

I mix my gel colors with a little vanilla and use the largest size needle and never have a problem. I use the AmeriColors the same way.

I ''guesstamate'' really.....probably like a half tsp. vanilla per tbsp. of color. It's hard to tell the amount.. Basically I put the color in the jar and slowly drop in the vanilla until it thins out. Sorry I can't be more precise. Little vanilla at a time.

I buy airbrush colors at my local cake and candy supplies store. I also order them from CK and/or BakeryCrafts.

Americolor also makes airbrush colors. I just ordered a bunch from intotheoven.com. For 4.5 oz...they're around $2 each.

I have one too and I have been practicing off and on with air popped pop corn in a huge roasting pan with deep sides.

I have gotten the feel for setting the pressure that way. Too high and it blows the popcorn out of the pan lower it.

I get my colors from decopac, ck and occasionally when I'm in memphis a place called mary carter. bakinstuff.om
