Okay I read on here somewhere that freezing a whole fondant cake was okay but can't find the forum, so pease help. Do I have to cover a fondant cake with plastic wrap as securely as an undecorated cake if it's only going to be for 4-5 days in the freezer? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I froze my daughters cake just inside a box and then allowed to thaw uncovered at room temp. If there was any condensation I dried it with a fan. Good luck!

My understanding about not fzing a cake covered in fondant is as it thaws there is no where for the moisture to go so the cake gets soggy.
Don't know.......haven't tried it.
