I can upload old ones but just not ones that I have gotten from my photographer and ones I took on my new camera..... I'm confused!!! I just want to share some of my newer cakes that I am proud of. Any help would be appriciated!!

I just use a photo editor that came with my computer (Microsoft Picture Manager) and resize them to around 640x480 (sometimes slightly larger) and they upload perfectly. I rarely compress my pictures unless I'm making a collage in PowerPoint. In PPT, there is a button you can press to "compress" your pictures. I do this b/c if I don't and when I save them as a jpg, they looked a little distorted. After making my collage and before I save it as a photo, I select the photos and hit the compress button. When you save your photo's in PPT, the pictures are generally very large in size (1200 x whatever). So I open the jpg from my windows explorer into my photo editor and resize the photo. Works like a charm!

picnik.com free editing program, you can compress on it very easy. Just go to size after you upload yur pic on the site, then leave it on ratio and I have been using around 485-500 it doesn't seem to cut out any of the pic once it is uploaded on here

Thank you calicakequeen for asking this question. I have been on CC for a while and have never been able to download my pics. First because my computer was a dinosaur, but we have had a new one for a few months and I have tried a couple of times and my pics were too big. But after reading this I HAVE JUST UPLOADED MY FIRST PICTURE!!!!!!!! Yeah!!!!!. I can't wait to post more. I just went to shrinkpictures.com (thank you Cake_Princess). It took me a few minutes to fugure it out (I'm computer stupid), but IT WORKED. I am so EXCITED!!!

Thank ya'll so much.

OOPS. My picture came out sideways. It wasn't that way in my file. Is it because of the size? What is the best size? Do you use the same size everytime?
