Hi everyone
I need some advise on how to keep fondant swags(draping) on the sides of a wedding cake, it seems to lose it's shape when it's done.

Well I fan fold them and then kinda slap them on the cake. Well carefully place them, of course. I only make a swag to go from one tier to the next and cover the join place with either flowers or the end of another sag. I pinch the ends of the fan fold together too.

I use a scewer to shape my drapes/swags. I use my chocolate fondant put thru a pasta machine till it's SUPER thin. They hold their shape very nicely! Since it's so thin, it really looks like material, too.
