i always make a practice design on parchment paper before the real thing. but this time the "practice" turned out so good that i want it to be the real thing. any suggestions on how to get buttercream frosting off of parchment paper???? its a 9x9 square cake thanks everyone!

I think you could put it in the freezer and then peel off the paper and put the design on your cake. I think this is called buttercream transfer... anyone else?

yes, freeze it and then peel the paper off!

Yep! Just pop it in the freezer for about an hour and the paper should peel right off.
