Okay, I don't eat the cakes...is that allowed?
I got into cakes as a way to work through a tough time in my life. I am self - not - taught...and still having fun, as long as I'm not really doing a cake for anyone that isn't a surprise, you know? I sold a couple for a fundraiser and those drove me batty.
These forums though...I can easily see myself sitting up all night long reading all these posts. WOW. I had no idea.
But of course, I'm righthanded but blessed with 2 left thumbs. (LOL)

For me personally my goals are Fun, first....delicious to eat, second and perfection, third and then only if I don't get bored first.

When I first came across this site and saw the warning banner about it's addictiveness I though, "Yeah, right." But OMG - it is sooo true!
I've pretty much learned everything I know from this place and I now enjoy helping others in return via the forums and PMs.
(I don't eat the cake, either).
