When I did the fairy on my castle cake in my photos, I made my own mold. I took a Wilton doll pick and made a mold from the face. I went to the clay section at Hobby Lobby and found a molding putty that was safe for food. I pushed the mmf in the mold and left a rounded piece in the back to look like the back of the head.

. . . you can also just use fondant/gumpaste to make your own mold . . . http://www.cakecentral.com/modules.php?name=gallery&file=displayimage&pid=175853 . . . HTH

Liis also mentions how she didn't let the mold dry properly before making the face (and that's why the features aren't very well defined) . . . so don't rush it . . . . icon_lol.gif
