I am transporting a cake 4 hrs today and have been informed to use the SPS. Will this damage the fondant when I put the pillars in? Will it cause the fondant to have blowouts anywhere? Help?
Put the support system in before the fondant starts to firm up, otherwise, yes the downward pressure may crack the fondant. All this is covered in the tutorial at the top of the How Do I? Forum.
