Ok, Why?

is the hi ratio shortening icing taking forever to crust?

This is the first time I have used it and it seems like a very long time crusting.

I doubt the shortening has anything to do with iticon_smile.gif Most likely you added a bit too much liquid. Hi Ratio tends to be moister than other shortening, needing less added.

It finally crusted. I believe it was from all the rain we had yesterday it was really humid and interfered with the crusting process.

A pic is in my photos. Said it should load in 30 minutes.
