I just pulled out my Wilton Food Markers (fine tip) to see if they would work on something I'm doing and I read the box for the first time (even though I've probably had these for a couple years), and it says to REFRIGERATE!!!

Anyone else know this? I guess I should read more often.... icon_rolleyes.gif

icon_surprised.gif Oh, Dear. icon_surprised.gif I guess I better check on mine when I get home! I hope they aren't dried out!

Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

Yes- I keep mine in the refrigerator - they've been in there for a VERY long time and I have no idea how long they keep - I haven't used them in forever, don't know if they're even any good still!

I don't keep mine in the fridge and have had no problems with using them.

LOL, I am a compulsive package-reader, so I noticed that before I even bought the pens. I only refrigerate the ones I've used. I assume it's because the pen nib picks up food particles that theoretically could spoil, creating a bacteria-fest on your pen. So I just put 'em in a Ziploc and keep 'em in the fridge. Whether or not it's truly necessary, who knows...?
