I have a candy shoe mold and am having the hardest time getting it even. I'm using the candy melts but when I put it in the mold it starts sliding down the sides. After it hardens ( I put in the frzr.) they aren't even so the shoe has gaps.

What is the secret to getting the shoe even so that it matches? I hope one of ya'll skilled decorators are able to help. TIA

Are you trying to make it hollow? That's what it sounds like to me. If you are it's hard to get a proper coat in one go. What you need to do is paint a thin layer several times, letting it harden in between coats.

If that isn't what you're doing could you attach a picture? That mignt give people a better idea of what you're talking about.
