lollipop sticks instead of dowels for tiered cakes? Kinda in a sticky spot, and no extra time to run to the store for dowels.

I have never used lollypop sticks but I do use drinking straw (cut below where it bends so they are rigid) Sorry I wish I could be more help but maybe you have straws icon_smile.gif

I used them once when I got in a bind, but only used them to hold a 6" round. They worked fine for me. Didn't have to transfer the cake. It was set up onsite.

Not the best idea. They absorb the moisture and soften thereby allowing them to bend icon_sad.gif

at the bakery i work at they use lolipop sticks. I personaly dont use them cuz i dont trust them but it can be done
