Sports Ball Pan??

Has anyone done a pumpkin using the sportsball pan? and if so will it set upright with out rolling or do i need to cut the end off some? i want to make on sitting ontop of a sheet cake

either trim a flat bottom, or dowel that sucker in. have fun,

thanks i will do something shouldnt be to hard just didnt want it to roll right off the table(:

Definitly a flat bottom. But I would also put a thick border around the bottom to stabilize it. Fondant leaves, large candies, icing, whatever!
