I used to use tins, but they have become very pricey. I use boxes from Walmart. I line the box with bubble wrap and put a layer of cookies down. I then put another layer of bubble and then a piece of cardboard, cut to fit the box.(I find the extra cardboard helps to stabilize the cookies from moving around.) I continue this process until the box is full. I then seal that box, and put it inside of another filled with packing peanuts. This process has worked for me.
