OK, I have no idea how to figure out the number of servings my cakes are. Everyone always asks how many servings and I don't know what to tell them. First off, how many servings is an 8 in round cake? I am making a football helmet that has 4, 8 inch rounds and a wilton ball pan on top. Does anyone have an idea how many servings that might be?
Your help is much appreciated.

Are you using wilton brand pans? If yes, go to their site and look up serving sizes.

Yes they are wilton pans, but I went to their website and could not find the servings. Any clue on where they are located?

Sorry I just noticed this post. Ummm go To the Wilton site, click on Cakes then cutting guide.

Here is the URL.

Here's the wilton chart I go by. http://www.wilton.com/wedding/wedding-cakes/wedding-cake-data.cfm

Here's the link to my website page where I show how to cut a cake to achieve these servings: http://cateritsimple.com/_wsn/page10.html
I get about 10% more servings when cutting this way (for example.... a 10" round serves 38 per this chart; I can get 40-42 and still have people asking me for smaller pieces).
