i am gonna try fondant for first time and i want to marble it with wilton icing coloring, will they work or do i have to get special coloring for fondant.. need help with this before oct 29th
Nope the regular old stuff will work
Wilton will be fine, just apply your color with a toothpick and pull the fondant like taffy, folding and pulling. If that makes sense? Then roll it out in a sheet to apply. Hope that helps!
marbeling is a very cool effect I love it. Pick your two colors. Your dominate color make it your biggest rope. Your next color make it about 1/2 that rope. Then make a candycane between the two colors. Leaving the flat on the table just make a coil with the two color rope. Then make one big rope. Now your ready to roll it out. You don't want to combine the two colors any more than the above. You will get a muddled mess.
thank you for all of your input i appreciate everything and anything that has to do with fonadant right now
wish me luck i will let you all know how it turned out
