If you have one or both of the receipes listed for moist and soft yellow or buttercake that is not DRY, please post.
I do butter recipe yellow cakes ALL the time. They are my favorite! I use a boxed mix though and doctor it up. I use the butter recipe boxed mix and mix like the directions say and then add the cake extender recipe to it, that I found on this site. I always dab a simple syrup on it as well, and they always turn out so moist and delicious! I don't know if this helped at all, as you may be looking for a scratch recipe.
