I have been using Americolor super red, but I still taste a small bitterness when I get it really red. Someone at Country Kitchen Sweet Art recommend Tulip Red by Americolor or CK brand. I bought the Americolor one and tested it tonight. I got a bright red right off the bat and didn't even have to let it sit. There was no bitter taste at all! I think I like it better than the super red.

That's great to know. I do not like colored frosting (other than yellow) because I think they are all nasty from the color. I'll have to give it a whirl. Thanks again!

I am glad to know this because I had the same problem with Americolor's Super Red.
