Hey guys, I have a wedding cake for Saturday. I am using Choco-pan. The bride wants luster dust on the cake. I have never used luster dust on choco-pan, so I just want to make sure it will behave properly. What about putting this cake back in the fridge? I don't wanna take it out and condensation make the luster dust run or something. This cake is gonna drive me crazy! lol

I cannot see why the luster dust would run. I really can't rememvber putting anything dusted into the frig -- sorry icon_sad.gif

As for using dust on Choco-Pan.....it is just another fondant recipe so there should be noproblem if you have used dust on any other type fondant.

When you take the cake out of the frig....keep it covered -- even just in a cake box -- for an hr or two and it should evaporate any condensation there might be.
