I feel like I'm making a gadzillion cookies, and came up with what I think is a great idea for decorating my ghost-shaped cookies.

I'm sure someone else has thought of this before, but I'm still feeling very proud of myself so wanted to share with someone!

I was going to pipe on two little black black eyes and a larger black filled in circle for the mouth. Just before putting them in the oven I saw my bag of chocolate chips laying on the table and that gave me the idea.

I cut the tips off the chocolate chips and stuck them in the cookie flat side up where I would have piped the mouith, baked them, and it worked beautifully. I made the piping for the eyes the color of the chocolate instead of black and it's looks great. Plus, there's a little bite of chocolate in the otherwise plain sugar cookie, which I just whitewashed with a thin white glaze.

I love chocolate chips. LOL Especially when they save me so much time.

I'll post pictures when I'm done with everything.

And thanks for your help with the questions. Helped me a lot and that glaze (Toba Garret's) is perfect!

Sounds good. Maybe use mini chips for the eyes next time, too.
