Hello CC

I have seen so many great cookie designs and wanted to do something for the holidays. I made a batch of chocolate chip cookies as a sample run. They were great the first day but after that they seem to have gotten hard.

So you see my problem here if I made the cookies and wanted to hand them out as gifts how do I keep them from becoming a tooth breaker. I am trying to figure out how the people in the store keep them so soft and moist when you buy them.

Help Help please icon_cry.gif !!!!!!!!!!!

Did you store them in an airtight container? Some recipes give a crisp texture, some give chewy. Then, you can overbake, which leads to a hard cookie.
