I have an anniversary cake due on Saturday. I have filled the cakes this morning (thursday); could I decorate today, or is that to early...I don't want the cake to be stale tasting. should I refridgerate until tomorrow?
the majority of my cakes are made for co-workers for their weekend parties, so I bake on Wednesday, decorate/fill on Thursday and deliver on Friday - as long as they are refrigerated, the cake should be fine. Let them know to bring to room temp for best flavor though
