I use buttercream dream from the recipes here on CC. When I mix all the ingridients together I use less milk than the recipe calls for. I also place my frosted cakes in the fridge and use the viva method before laying the MMF. For some reason the buttercream tends to get squishy underneath my MMF. Am I doing something wrong?

Generally, you have to use less frosting under fondant, otherwise you get squishy.
