What Would You Charge For 60 Cupcakes???

It is my first time have to do cupcakes as an order. I am not sure where to start. I usually just do it at cost for family and friends.
Depends on how they are decorated, of course, but for me a plain buttercream cupcake (no filling or decoration save maybe some sprinkle) starts at $2.50 each and it goes up from there.
My simple-simples (swirl of buttercream and sprinkle if they want them) are $1.25 each or $15/dz (no price break). A buttercream rose on top will cost $1.75 ea. A character is $2 and up. It all depends on the amount of work.
I do $18.00 to $24.00 a dozen depending on what they want, and if there is filling, specialty things, wrappers etc...someone on here stated think of it just as though it were a piece of cake, about the same size serving. Hope this helps good luck...!
I was just in a new bakery the other day and they were charging $1.50 for a buttercream cupcake. (It was in WV, that's where I'm originally from)..anyway, it's pretty rural compared to other states and places. =o)
I charge 15.00 a dozen or 1.25 each with a 1 dz min. purchase. Im still trying to figure out cake prices.
Thanks everyone for the heads up on pricing. It has given me a start on a good direction in this cupcake thing. ;O)
