Hi there everyone. I had a lady call about a iron man cake for her son. I have never seen the movie and know nothing about it. She doesnt want to spend more than $45-50 on it for 30 servings. She doesnt want a cake with just a figure placed on it. Any suggestions? Thanks everyone.

Tell her to go to Walmart. At $50 for 30 servings that is only $1.67 per serving. That will not even cover your supplies, time, electricity, etc. Plus she wants it carved. NO!!! It should be $120-$150 for a carved cake to serve 30 people. Seriously tell her to go to Walmart.

I would tell her no too. That's way too cheap. Maybe you could do a sheet cake with the bust drawn on instead?

Just tell her that after some research you realize that you could not possibly do what she wants because of your overhead. If you think she is a haggler just tell her that you cant do it because of copyright issues.

I have to agree with the others - if that is the kind of cake she wants, she'll have to pay or go to Walmart!
