This may be a dumb question BUT...

If there will be 200 guests at a wedding, what do you suggest to the bride about how many servings should be in a wedding cake AND grooms cake? I know there should be 200 servings, but - do you split that between the cakes OR do you make the 200 servings in the wedding cake and the groom's cake is just additional at that point?

What is typical?

Thanks for any help!

There are no rules .... I just ask the bride what she wants. Most of mine want a wedding cake for 200 and then they get a small groom's cake for 25-50 on the side, so they actually end up buying more. thumbs_up.gif
