Adhering Sanding Sugar To Gumpaste/fondant

I want to make the number 10 out of gumpaste/fondant and wanted to use sanding sugar so it looks really sparkly. Just wanted to know what to use to adhere it.

I have done this with gum glue (gum arabic and water) although I am sure there are other ways to make it stick as well.
