Hey guys, I have a babyshower cake for tomorrow and I have a few questions...she wants a chocolate buttercream cake with pink circles.
should the fondant circles be dry or soft when I put them on the buttercream?
What is the best way to keep them inplace or do they usually stay?
You want them to be soft so they curve with the sides of the cake. As long as your icing is fresh they should stick. If the icing on your cake has "crusted" just brush a light coat of it on the back of the dots.
