I seem to have a difficult time getting my fondant smooth around the bottom. It always has wrinkles around the bottom and the more I try to fix it I get tears. It looks so easy, what is my problem? Any help would be appreciated. I use Wilton fondant, could that be my problem?

Hi!

Could be the fondant. Sounds like it is sagging OR you aren't getting it all stuck to the cake without getting wrinkles in it?? It's all in the technique. I might suggest getting some educational sources. There are lots of tools available on this subject. Fondant really is super easy.... you just need some help in your technique.

You have to kind of gradually work down around the cake, pulling it out at the bottom and then smoothing it flat to slowly work the folds and wrinkles out towards the bottom....
