Do You Know How To Make A Spice Cake Using Apple Pie Filling

Can I just substitute the whole can (21oz) of pie filling for the-1/4 cups of liquid the recipe calls for?

Thank you. I ended up baking before seeing your response. What I did is just mix in the pie filling (after chopping up the huge apple pieces) and mixing it into the (doctored) batter. Baked up well so tomorrow I will be able to let you know how I made out.

Just thought I would let you know that my idea came out ok. The cake turned out to be extrememly moist, and the little crunch from the apples juiced up the plain old spice cake. Something I will try again.
